The AME CARs Crash Course gives apprentice AMEs a straight path through the Canadian Aviation Regulations: 10 Parts, 10 video lessons, 83 review questions and 5 full 50-question practice exams in the REGS format.

Pass Your CARs Exam.

Self-paced · 90-day access · Certificate of completion

Stop reading the CARs cover to cover.

The regulations are long, dense and written for lawyers, not apprentices on a hangar floor. The REGS exam doesn't care how many pages you read. It cares whether you know the Parts that matter and can answer under exam conditions.

Know what matters.

Every Part is broken down in mechanic language, with the sections that show up on the exam called out.

Learn it on your break.

Short video lessons and phone-friendly reading you can finish between shifts.

Walk in ready.

Five full practice exams mean exam day feels like the sixth time, not the first.

Everything you need for the REGS exam

10 Parts - every Part of the CARs, Part I to Part X, each with a written lesson linked to the official Justice Laws text.

10 video lessons - a walkthrough of each Part before you read it.

83 review questions - a short quiz at the end of every Part to check what stuck.

5 practice exams - 50 questions each, 250 questions in total, in the same format as the real exam.

Certificate of completion - issued when you finish every step.

90 days of self-paced access - study on your schedule, on any device.

Practice the way you'll be tested

Transport Canada's AME regulations exam (REGS), described in TP 14038, is 50 multiple-choice questions with 4 choices each, and you need 70% to pass, with a 3-hour time limit. Every practice exam in the course follows that same format, so you can check your score against the pass mark before you book.

FAQ

Who is this course for?

Apprentice aircraft maintenance engineers (AMEs) in Canada preparing for the Transport Canada CARs (REGS) exam, and students in AME training programs.

90 days from enrolment. The course is self-paced, so you can go as fast or as slow as you like within that time.

Does it match the real exam?

The practice exams use the REGS format described in TP 14038: 50 multiple-choice questions, 4 choices each, 70% to pass.

Which CARs Parts are on the exam?

Parts I, II, IV, V, VI and VII. The course covers all ten Parts so you understand the whole map, but it points you to the examined ones.
